Kevin Monroe
Master Barber with vast knowledge and experience in the hair industry. He received his cosmetology credentials from Xenon International Academy in December 2011. Upon graduation, Kevin set up shop at the Edge Barbershop in North Kansas City. During his tenure there, Kevin built a strong client base, learned invaluable business practices, and began to realize his dream of entrepreneurship. In early 2016, Kevin got the vision to open an upscale barber experience for his customers. After months of planning and prayer, KC Master Kutz was born; officially opening the doors in September 2017. Kevin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration which has equipped him with the education and skills necessary to run a successful business.
Kevin continues to build his client base by staying on top of the latest styles, trends, and products. Kevin strives to give each of his customers the crispest cut regardless of hair style, length, or texture. This alone makes him one of the most sought after barbers in the Kansas City metro area. He is always looking for ways to enhance the barber experience for his clients and further establish his brand by offering barber services as well as products that promote healthy hair and skin.

Cleon Conn
Cleon Conn is a Master Barber with over a decade of experience. He is a Kansas City, MO native, receiving his Barber License in 2007 from Cutting Edge Hairstyling Academy. Cleon started his career in the Northland at the Edge Barbershop, where he built a healthy clientele & continues to build. He is currently perfecting his craft at KC Master Kutz, also in the Northland. Cleon cuts all textures and styles of hair and is available for appointments & walk-ins.

Clinton Risper
Clinton Risper is a family-oriented husband and father of four. Since his teens, he has always had a passion for cutting hair and later attended The Cutting Edge School for Barbering.
He has now mastered his craft and honed his skills as a design creator, always keeping up with the latest trends in hairstyles. Not only does Clinton love what he does, but he also takes pride in giving clients a sense of comfort while providing them with a tailor-made service.

Brandon Vasquez
After graduating from Ea La Mars Barber & Cosmetology College , Brandon worked humbly under his first mentor before being presented an opportunity for growth at KC Master Kutz .
Licensed professionally since 2018, he’s meticulously studied the art of barbering under many skilled master barbers, in hopes of serving each and every client with a service tailored to their own individual needs.
Brandon’s philosophy is, “It’s more than just a haircut . It’s a confidence boost. It’s how you look in your family photos. It’s how you want to be presented to others and shows a piece of yourself outside of any clothing or jewelry. It’s priceless.“

Denzel White
Denzel White is an aspiring artist with over 15 years of experience in creative design. Before attending barber school, he devoted his spare time to his artistry, which resulted in a blooming passion for the mastery of cutting. With a keen attention to detail and the steady hand that art requires, he decided that putting these talents to use in the grooming industry would also enhance his barbering skills.
Cutting hair has always been his hidden dream, and with faith and determination, he started his barbering journey in 2021. After graduating from Klassic Transformations Barber Academy in 2022, Denzel joined the KC Master Kutz family. While continuing to perfect his craft, he has grown a diverse clientele and continues to build his business in the art of cutting. Denzel believes that "a cut can change your life in the smallest way for the better". He holds himself to a standard that gives every client an experience they love.

Monyae Stewart
Monyae Stewart brings a new dimension to the KC Master Kutz team. As a licensed and highly-skilled braider with over 20 years of experience, she is known as one of the leading braid stylists in the field. Since she was a pre-teen, Monyae has been known as “the braider” in her family. She loves learning new techniques and trends, and spends countless hours mastering her craft. She has expertise working with all ethnicities, hair textures, and lengths, which enables her to deliver a wide range of services from simple to very meticulous styles. Monyae is always pleased to meet and get to know her new clients, while providing quality styles and exceptional customer service. Monyae’s love for hair braiding shows up in the quality and integrity of her work.
